Good experience,quiet, next to the sound.
Spaces are close together (but that is probably the norm for this area). The staff is very friendly as are fellow campers. Small campground on the sound side with access to the ocean side with a stroll across Rt 12.
This place is beautiful, love the Pamlico sound camping.
Best campground on Hatteress island. Owners are friendly and go out of their way to help with any situation. I had a leak in my water heater and the owner saw me looking at it and walked over and before I knew it he had fixed my leak! A lot of the campers have been coming here for years. The atmosphere is friendly and warm. I would give it a ten star if possible!
Our family had a great time camping here! Sheri was awesome and took care of everything we needed! Outdoor shower had warm water and was a delight after coming back from the beach. Ice available to purchase outside of the office as well as fruit and veggies at the entrance. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets and our daughter loved watching the resident ducks. Pet friendly. We will be sure to return!
